ASEAN Heritage Parks
ASEAN Heritage Parks (AHPs) are protected areas of high conservation importance, preserving in total a complete spectrum of representative ecosystems of the ASEAN region. These areas are established to generate greater awareness, pride, appreciation, enjoyment and conservation of ASEAN’s rich natural heritage, through a regional network of representative protected areas, and to generate greater collaboration among the ASEAN Member States in preserving their shared natural heritage.

AHP Managers Meeting
AHP Managers Meeting will serve as a platform to facilitate the exchange of knowledge and best practices, and will be a venue for the consultation on the post-2020 Regional Action Plan
Marketplace and Exhibits
The Marketplace and Exhibits will highlight the milestones and key accomplishments of the AHP programme over the years. It will also provide an opportunity for the AHPs to showcase the features and biodiversity-based products of the parks, and to network with prospective partners.
Field Visit
Hosted by Indonesia, the AHP managers and conference participants will visit Gunung Gede to observe protected area management practices in Indonesia and reinforce experiential and contextual learning.
ASEAN Biodiversity Heroes
The ASEAN is hailing a new diverse set of biodiversity heroes who will be advocating for the protection, sustainable use, and conservation of the region’s biological resources and will inspire others to take action for biodiversity in their own spheres of influence.
Launch of the Young ASEAN Storytellers Exhibition
The Young ASEAN Storytellers (YAS) Exhibition is a virtual experience featuring conservation stories from the AHPs in the form of photography, artwork, written pieces, film/videography, and other new media.
